Welcome!
This space was created to inspire my community to grow and heal in their own journey of life.
Hola Community! My name is Pamela Gonzalez-Villarreal, and I am a bilingual, first-generation Latina, Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) licensed by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences, and certified Grief Educator.
I created this space to support my community in navigating challenges related to grief and trauma and to continue the mission of destigmatizing mental health, especially within the BIPOC community. All of my therapy services are offered online, only at this time.
I specialize in working with my community to address issues related to grief, depression, anxiety and trauma. I have a passion for serving women of color and those who have been impacted by issues related to abuse and neglect. I offer culturally- affirming support, through a trauma-informed lens, while planting seeds of hope within everyone I come across.
With love,
Pamela
Meet Pamela, LCSW
Therapist|Speaker|Grief Educator
Hola, I’m Pamela. Thank you so much for being here. I am a Bay Area Northern California-based Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I identify as a first-generation Latina, who’s passion is to create a space for my community to have their language and cultural needs met within a therapy session.
Mental health and grief are topics very close to my heart, due to my own life- changing grief journey. My own journey of healing has inspired me to become very passionate in wanting to help others in navigating their grief and mental health journey.
I have over 10 years of experience delivering clinical services within the non-profit and government mental health sector, in both Spanish and English. All of my work is driven from a social justice, culturally affirming lens. I have worked with children, youth and families impacted by violence, abuse and neglect within the Child Welfare and Juvenile Justice system. My experience also includes facilitating Conflict and Accountability groups for women, support groups for survivors of Domestic Violence, and facilitating Child and Family Team meetings for families within the Child Welfare system.
I am passionate as well in offering speaking engagements/workshops to my community partners, related to grief/mental health topics, with the mission of continuing to destigmatize mental health within the BIPOC/Latine community. I specialize in working with the BIPOC community and women of color, who have been impacted by issues related to grief, depression and trauma. I believe the journey of healing is life-long and it is my absolute pleasure and honor in joining you on this journey.
Please do not hesitate to reach out, should you have any questions.

Keynotes
Family Therapy
Family dynamics can be extremely difficult to navigate. I offer a compassionate, judgement free zone, to support you and your family to “peel the onion” to get to the root of the issue. My goal is to give you the tools needed to handle difficult conversations and to foster a better sense of insight and understanding. Sessions are also 50-60 minutes long.
Individual Therapy for Teens
Teens face a unique set of challenges often times. I utilize expressive arts and somatic practices, to support youth in expressing their thoughts and feelings through healthier outlets, as they navigate stressors related to anxiety, depression, and/or grief. My goal is to support youth in building self-awareness so they can live their lives with greater confidence.

Starting therapy for the first time, can feel nerve wrecking and scary. My intention and goal is to create a safe, non-judgemental space for you to help you process whatever brings you to this space.
Make sure you are in a comfortable space, grab your favorite blanket, cup of tea/water and make yourself as comfortable as possible! If you do not know what your therapy goals are, no worries. I will support you in exploring what brings you here further.
Most importantly, bring an open heart.
